MY BEGINNING
I came into this world eight weeks early, my weight falling from 4 pounds to 2 pounds.
Doctors told my parents to prepare for the worst.
But God had other plans.
That miracle became the quiet beginning of a life shaped by resilience and purpose.

THE SIX JOURNEYS
Over twenty years, I walked with six of my loved ones through the final chapter of their lives.
I didn’t choose these paths.
They arrived one by one — each asking more of me than the last.
And each time, I said yes.

WHAT CAREGIVING TAUGHT ME
Caregiving is not a task.
It is a surrender.
A devotion.
A willingness to sit in the sacred space between living and dying, and to offer comfort, presence, and dignity.

A QUESTION THAT CHANGED ME
My mother once asked:
“How is it that you weren’t supposed to survive at birth, yet you’re the one who cared for your brothers, father, uncle, and now me?”
My answer:
“God blessed me with life when all hope was gone. Caring for each is my way of sharing that gift.”

THE HARDEST CHAPTER
Four years after my mother passed, my wife Melanie began the final 15 months of her life.
Nothing prepared me for that journey.
The sacrifices were immense.
But love asks that of us sometimes.

WHEN I COULD NO LONGER STAND
At my lowest point, my daughter stepped in.
She put her dreams on hold.
She came home.
She helped me stand again.
I will be forever grateful.

THE REALIZATION
After two decades of caregiving, I learned a truth that shaped everything that followed:
There is nothing I cannot do — except stop the people I love from dying.

THE RETURN
Today, I can finally say:
I am back. Not as who I was, but as who these journeys shaped me to become.
This is a new day.
A new beginning.
A new calling.

MY MISSION
I am here, to support patients, caregivers, and families through the hardest chpater of life — with dignity, clarity, compassion, and presence. One day at a time, one step at a time.
Thank you for being here.
Gentle hugs to one and all!!!
